Joystick Notes and Thoughts

The joysticks are in and are interesting. I will need to sort out how I’m going to attach them and how I’ll cut out the hole for the joystick to rotate fully and properly. Not too surprisingly the potentiometers for these joysticks are not exactly identical from one to the next. Additionally, each on has this choke collar sort of appartus that limits where the potentiometer range sits. The collar has been pushed to the same area on each joystick and they’ve then been glued into place. The ranges are shown below…

Vertical — Horizontal
1. 238, 594, 952 — 221, 589, 989

2. 220, 583, 935 — 215, 567,959

3. 220, 599, 963 — 223, 583, 983

4. 243, 589, 956 — 227, 587, 988

5. 213, 583, 939 — 222, 590, 975
